A non-profit corporation dedicated to offering sailing and seamanship instruction and programs and educating individuals to the joys of sailing. We teach several levels of instruction during the summer, from youth to adult. Our primary location is Norton Pond in Lincolnville, where we sail Vanguard 420 dinghies. We also have a keel boat at the Lincolnville Beach ferry terminal, where students can graduate to ocean sailing.
Trekkers is a nonprofit, outdoor-based mentoring program that connects young people to caring adults through expeditionary learning, community service and adventure-based education. Engaging adult volunteers from the community, Trekkers provides educational, experiential and cross-cultural opportunities for young people, emphasizing relationship building and the earth as educator. Students join in 7th grade and participate in an educational expedition each year until high school graduation.
