Camden Conference

This year's topic, "The US in a 21st Century World: Do We Have What It Takes?" examines the prospects for the US future role on the world stage and the effectiveness of our diplomatic, military, economic, and political power. The goal of the Conference is to facilitate civil discourse on major issues in world affairs, and no ideological or political stance is taken. This year's keynote speaker is former governor, ambassador, and presidential candidate Bill Richardson. Other speakers include moderator Nicholas Burns, Pete DuPont (former Delaware Governor and presidential candidate), and Deborah Amos of National Public Radio. The Conference is held at the Camden Opera House and live streamed to the Strand Theatre in Rockland, the Hutchinson Centre in Belfast, and The Grand in Ellsworth.
